Mazza

..Hey there i'm Andy or as many people call me Mazza or Woog.Well i've been playing for 17 years and theres nothing better than the sound of a guitar turned up full.Well i'd say i'm more of a rhythm guitarist than lead(but don't mind which ever) plus i like doing vocals to.Was in a band for nearly three years(Dead Souls Eve) with two good friends of mine Dazz and Brian Hobden,but i had to call it a day.So now i'm trying new territory.I'm into Rock and most types of metal.So where did the music bug start for me.Well for me it was 1989 and i was listening to two Queen albums my brother had,The Miracle and A Night At The Opera.Now listening to those two albums for the first time was like whoa wait a minute where did this come from,when you you know you like something real bad you just know and it was that moment i knew rock music(for the most part)would be what i was going to listen and get into big time,So from then on and through the ninties i got into such bands as Van Halen,Def Leppard,G'n'R,Bon Jovi and later to an extent Soundgarden and The Foo Fighters.So not really into metal then as such although a bit of Metallica surfaced with me mid ninties but nothin major.That was until 2003 one gig changed it all 19th december 2003 i went to see Metallica at Earls Court London and it just blew my mind this was awesome and knew there and then that i had to make music and be in a band plus it got me into metal in a big way.In 1996 i went to see ACDC at the NEC Birmingham as great as the gig and those guys were it didn't for me have the same impact as what the Tallica gig had.Also i caught the live music bug to and i've seen countless bands since which include Mastodon(+2),The Haunted,The Offspring,Machine Head,Bowling For Soup,Fozzy(+2),Alter Bridge,Atreyu,Dozer,Burst,Martyr AD(Bass player is tasty),Fantomas,Lamb Of God,Drugdealer Cheerleader(great live band) and Metallica again last year at Wembley Stadium and it was AWESOME.Well the list can go on and on.I just love music and i mean proper music like the bands i have mentioned and i hope i can do my bit even if my music is only heard on myspace.it's still getting out there.ROCK ON to all!As Of June 2008 i am the lead Vocalist of the band Not Too Shabby! And Lead Vocalist/Guitarist of a yet un-named metal band.
