Thanks for checking out my music profile! As a thriving drummer and musician, I created this page to help promote myself and my drumming.
Although I do play in bands, I do consider myself an independant and session drummer, as do I promote myself as one. After being and performing in bands that did have potential then banished...I am sick of having to rely on bandmates that dont (or think they do) have the same level of passion and professionalism about music and performing as I do. I strongly do believe that, as a drummer, being in a band is not the only way to be successful. Drumming is an art within itself, and I plan on expressing that! Nothing I do is half-assed...wheather I am in a band or doing my own thing with my drumming I always strive for success and be the very best that I can!
I plan on releasing what will be my debut solo drum album. I'm looking at a very late 2008/early 2009 release, give or take.
I told myself at the beginning of 2008 I'm going to do something serious with my drumming. I want to get together with the best musicians that I know of and create something that I could call my own and be proud of. I think releasing a solo album would be a great promotional tool that will get my music out there and be heard.
Right now I'm in the very early stages of just planning this solo album out and talking with musicians who would be willing to collaborate with me on this project. The writing stage of the album will take the longest. This isn't something that I want to put together quickly. I want the final result to be something majikal!!
Keep on the lookout for some audio and video clips of my drumming, I will have that up as quick as possible.

Drum Physiology
Drumming has physiological effects. It increases heart rate and blood flow kind of like aerobic exercise. The process of drumming engages both the linear, (rational left brain) and the creative, (intuitive right brain). The two brain hemispheres often eminate different wave frequencies. Drumming is like a deep meditation. It brings you into synchronization, which is a state of consciousness.
Drumming links humans to the vibrations of the earth by slowing the brain waves to around 8 cycles per second, the exact frequency of the earth. Drumming heals the human energy field. If your intention is for some healing while you drum, it will.
