D.U.I grew up listining to a huge variety of rap/hip hop music. His lifestyle reflected the music that he listend to and found himself in a lot of trouble with the law. In 1999 D.U.I left the mendocino coast and moved to Rohnert Park where his knowledge for the game strengthend. Sonoma County law enforcement agencies collaborated in a bust to try and bring D.U.I down in 2002, in a D.E.A. raid on D.U.I's Crossbrook Apt. In Rohnert Park. This kept D.U.I. down for about a year. Untill Felony probation was no longer a fear in his eyes. As a result 2 more trips to the Sonoma County Farm was D.U.I's destiney. 2003 D.U.I left Sonoma County and all the chaos behind and went deeper into NorCal, Fort Bragg, Mendocino County, where he would complete his probation requirements and his outpatient program. 2004 D.U.I was released from probation and blew up on the Mendocino Coast. A relapse on New Years eve 2005, sent him on a run that took a toll on him his family and the entire mendocino coast. With local law enforcement agencies nipping on his heals D.U.I made an exit from the game, retreating deeper yet into Northern California, to a Rehab Facility in Humboldt County, Singing Trees. It was here that D.U.I started to put his life experiences into rhyme, the tough lessons learned into lyrics. It was here that D.U.I the lyricist was born. In August of 2005 D.U.I left rehab, and been recording ever since...
