Prose and I have been good friends for nearly a decade. In that time we have shared a passion for hip hop. I started out on turntables back in the late 90's and linked up with Illicit Sound System helping them promote and they featured me at some parties spinning and eventually I got on the mic. Around that time I had started producing music. I decided I was more into the production/emcee side of things. Prose was doing house parties at that time and also honing his production skills. So in 2008 we decided to form Deathmask. Our style isn't your typical hip hop. I've been told it is self serving. I speak for myself and Prose when I say that is how we prefer it.
