Cellar Door

Recently described as "A less intelligent Radiohead", "A good Snow Patrol" and "a cross between Interpol and Pearl Jam"Cellar Door are a post punk/alernative rock band that formed in late 2005 by four school friends.Cellar Door has a large dynamic and atmospheric sound that is driven by their lead singers powerful baritone voice. The lyrics in the songs are written with a sense of sarcasm and cynicism while the band's guitar and bass lines are dedicated to both capturing and disguising feelings of pressure, darkness and loss of control. By progressively building on guitar melodies the band manages to create songs that can be perceived as short pop songs or deep songs that convey powerful meaning.They have spent the last few months adding finishing touches to their self titled debut EP which will be released sometime in the next month or so.
