If You Like Rock You Must Be A Weedhead Punk Rocker, If You Like Pop Your An Average Joe And If You Like Grime You Must Be A Thug Who Likes Acting Bad And Beating Up Old Ladies For Fun. Especially Attending Archbishop Temple For A School I See This Even More. Most Of Them Live In Fulwood And Do Have This Idea That Because I Live In Moor Nook Im A Mindless Yob And Think They Can Place Me In The Category Of "Chav", It Angers Me Alot But Its No Big Problem. But In Reality These Assumptions Are Most Of The Time False. I Can't Speak For The First Two Types Of Music But Definetly As A Mc Myself I See Alot Of Negative Presumptions Towards Us. Its Clear There Are People Who Do Go Round Looking For Fights And Theiving But Is That Because A Certain Type Of Music Makes Them Be That Way, And As A Further Disproof Couldn't Anybody Do Those Things Regardless Of What They Play Through There Speakers. Why Everyone Assumes That Once You Mc You Have Become Affliated With A Gangster Lifestyle I'm Not Quite Sure. It Is An Agressive Type Of Music Performed With A Passion And Your Expected To Have The Belief That You Are The Best And Nobody Can Stop You, Without That Belief You Wont Get Far In Life Never Mind Just Music. I Think The Misconception For This Genre Developed As People Listened To The Lower Quality Of Artist. Of The Moshers/Emos/Goths That I Know And The Ones I Have Spoken Too Said They Hate Grime As A Genre Because Of All The Silly Little Idiots That Give The Remaining Few Real And Talented Mcz A Unwanted Reputation. I Hear It Myself And With The Levels Some Mcz Come Up With And Just The Silly Blatantly Basic Lyrics They Make About No Topic In Particular Is More Than Dissapointing And For Me Personally It's Antagonising. It Lays Waste To The Efforts Of Certain People Who Try To Keep A Feeling Of Realism And Intelligence To Grime. Its More Than A Needle In A Haystack Type Search To Find Realness In Grime, I Even Think There Are Some Heads That Have "Made It" That Don't Have The Realness Factor. Its All Well And Good Claiming You Will Stamp On Someones Head If He Disrespects You But Then When Most People Find Themselves In That Situation They Don't Do Anything But Back Down Or Simply Keep Talking Big. I Think That It Will Always Be This Way Because In Any Genre Of Music You Get Something Or Someone That Will Put People Off. For Me In Emo Or Goth Music Its The Depression And Talk Of Killing Yourself That Puts Me Off, Im No Expert But I Think Putting The Idea That The World Is Horrible And Evil And Heavon Is The Salvation And The One Way Out Into The Heads Of Teenagers Who Deal With Enough Is A Little Bit Risky, But Im No Expert. There Are Obviously People Who Find That Soothing Or The Genre Wouldnt Exist.
