About Me

Joey K Lorer is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Saskatoon who has played with some of the city's best bands. From holding down the fort with the Cracker Cats, Little Miss Higgins, and Heartstrings, to putting the icing on Maybe Smith's cake, to writing and producing Saskatoon's most ambitious record ever with Old Joe and the Truth Hurts, he is a busy man.Joey has recently finished an EP which features six new songs variously accompanied by himself, Heartstrings, and the Resonance. He recently returned from a musical journey many people dream about but never take - a cross-Canada train tour. This fall Joey will be playing with the usual assortment of groups, as well as taking an all-Saskatchewan tour with yet another new group and all-new songs.Stay tuned for another new CD before the end of the year as well! Joey is hard at work with several people and will be recording again very soon.
