My Interests

My Current Loves: Dancing, film, writing, reading, painting and sketching, laughing until I ache all over, wine, sculpture, meeting new people, wearing and collecting marvelous pieces of clothing, learning about all of history, buying and making elaborate costumes, collecting comic books and smutty novels that aren't generally allowed, my friends and people I love, being loved, expressing myself without fear of recrimmination, self-actualization, the fight for the equality of all humanity, and deep, philosophic conversation about everything from theology to history to love to humanity to life and death. Let nothing be sacred!!!Dislikes and Peeves: Narrow-mindedness and ignorance, bad acting, discourteousness, rude kids, Hummers and Hummer limos (so tacky), unrequited love, reality TV, merchandising, and the general degradation and dumbing-down of society.

I'd like to meet:

All of my Muses. Suffering children and people. Survivors of war and human tragedy. The persecuted. Teachers who really teach. Artists of all sorts. Nerds and geeks. Romantics. Travelers and people with fascinating lives and experiences. Lovers and hellions. Ladies with pale skin and smoldering red lips. Gentlemen with silver cigarette cases and salt and pepper hair. Corset-makers in atelliers. Philosophers and geniuses long dead. A cobbler with cunning designs. Burlesque dancers/enthusiasts and ballet company principals. Visionaries who argue in cramped cafes. Those who are old-fasioned at heart. People fluent in long-forgotten languages and practitioners of long-forgotten arts. Knowers of secrets. A friend.

Books:

Anything and everything. I eat them. I gobble them up. They sit in stacks around my room, I read them in the bath, in the car, in bed, at the dinner table, and they frequently cause me to go broke.CURRENTLY READING:www.whofic.com
