So we’re Charles³, a band from Antwerp consisting of the next members:
Dimi, our singer and guitar dude. Let’s see how to best describe him. Well, simply imagine the love child of a Viking and a teddy bear, that produces a lot of weird noise, and I absolutely mean that in the best way possible, and you’ll be pretty close.
Caia, I mean, a hot chick on drums that plays tight, what more can you want right? Brun, guitar and vocals. He’s Caia’s brother and he used to play in this metal band called Immaculate. I know, I know, but no worries he’s on a righteous path now.
And me Nina, better known as ‘de Pool’ on bass and yes, like most if not every bass player, I am lazy.
Oh yeah, and we all like girls, so I mean, we’re bound to make it right?
There you have the rundown.We recorded this demo in the summer of 2006, I know, the summer of ’69 would have sounded way cooler, but we weren’t born yet. For this I will not apologize for it wasn’t our fault.
We spent four days in the studio (also known as Dimi’s living room). We all had a blast recording this demo and we sincerely hope you enjoy it.
Before I say any more I’d like to give a big thanks to energy drinks. A big fuck you to crappy watermelons and not to forget a shout out to Brun’s mesmerizing cooking and of course late-night ‘bokes me choco’.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to say to the band that I love all you guys to death and if I could I’d marry you all. Even though that actually isn’t very legal and would be pretty weird, but yeah, you get my point.
