The 2008 Southern California Chop Meet at Mountain High in Wrightwood, CA is an all-day event on Saturday, July 19, 2008.Early vendor check-in and setup is available and encouraged from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday 18.

Friday, July 18
3:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.—Early vendor check-in and setup 9:00 p.m.—Gates closed
Saturday, July 19
7:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m.—Gates open for vendors and swap meet —no vendors will be admitted after 9:00 a.m.
10:00 a.m.—GATES OPEN FOR SPECTATORS
10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.—Swap Meet and Vendor hours of operation—vendors may strike their booths after 6:00 p.m., but no vendor vehicles may enter or leave the Chop Meet show area until vendor tear down Sunday morning
2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.—Official viewing hours for Bike Show—all judging to take place at this time
2:00 p.m.–2:45 p.m.—Opening band #1 on Main Stage
3:45 p.m.–4:45 p.m.—Opening band #2 on Main Stage
4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.—Bike Show judges finalize choices and determine winners in all categories
5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.—Bike Show winners announced on Main Stage; awards presentation and photo opportunity with trophy girls
8:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.—Headliner band on Main Stage
8:00 p.m.—Last call for alcohol
9:00 p.m.—GATES CLOSED, LIGHTS OUT
Sunday, July 20
6:00 a.m.–12:00 noon—Vendor tear down and departure
IMPORTANT: The Chop Meet will run rain or shine, and no refunds for tickets or vendor space will be issued under any circumstances or for any reason. This includes but is not limited to acts of nature, cancellation, edict from law enforcement and/or fire authorities, etc.

Before they developed the Chop Meet, Bill, Chris, McGoo and Michael founded the El Diablo Run. The EDR is an annual motorcycle ride south of the border into Baja Mexico.
