About Me

'Patchy' formed at the beginning of 2008 as simply two mates writing some tunes on guitars. After only a couple of months of playing gigs in pubs across the UK the band were lucky enough to record their debut EP 'This One's For You' at the world famous Monnow Valley Studios. The CD was warmly recieved by critics and fans and led to a crop of gigs developing a strong fan base, both in the local area and further afield with appearances in Bristol and Swansea. The CD was followed up with the free release of a collection of new and old songs in the Regional Press alongside a slot on the Monmouth Festival. With the band now stretched across the width of the country with university the band are preparing for a new CD release this summer as well as headlining the first night of the Jamstand Festival in Ross on Wye.

"...Together the pair address issues such as drink, loneliness and peer envy. Feeling So High goes one further in building into pure heartache- inducing frustration as Knight screams ’Its Not That I Didnt Try’. The Fourth track Upbeat, Crazy, Charming meanwhile oozes summer and makes you want to throw out your Jack Johnson collection. A delightful mini-album, a Mature, Melodic Debut..."
