with a big party (open to all) at K44 where the work of all participants will be presented through video wall projectionse-storyTell a Story began three years ago as a platform of communication, exchange, coexistence and development by inviting every time, more and more young designers.Tell a Story, is the only tradeshow in Greece that is focusing on the presentation of the work of young designers, aiming to promote it within the Greek market. The range selected, reflects a coherent pick of designers with fresh, innovative and in the same time practical designs, always within the context of small qualities and high quality.It presents new and fresh ideas, covering all aspects of progressive design and evolutionary fashion, while in the same time allowing for collective ideas and personal contacts to be established.Tell a Story’s aim is reinforcement and growth, enabling it to be organised twice per year, presenting in October collections for Spring - Summer seasons and in February for Autumn – Winter seasons respectively.It also aims to:• Present and promote the fresh and innovative work of young designers through presentations and articles in the greek and foreign media• Promote the work of these designers in the greek and foreign market.• Reinforce their coexistence by allowing the exchange of greek designers in other international tradeshow and vice versa.• To accomplish the necessary publicity, enabling this three day fair, to bring together a big group of people from all sections of design, fashion, the market and the media.At this third organisation of Tell a Story• 40 young designers (28 Greek – 12 from France, England, Holland, Portugal, Cyprus) present their labels for Spring – Summer 2009• Between 10th and 12th of October (11:00h – 19:00h daily)• At the industrial space of K44, an area of 400sq. meters (www.k44.gr)• The tradeshow will open with a big open party on Thursday 9th of October at K44The main characteristic of the work of all participants is the complexity of simplicity, contrast and transformation.
