Born in Manchester and now a fully fledged resident of London, my music tastes are both eclectic and well evolved. I have gained a broad knowlege of world music and a personal belief that music, no matter what genre unites us all in some way, shape or form.
Music is my passion and so djing and producing was an obivious yet natural progression. Not only has djing taken me to numerous cities it has also allowed me to bring my knowledge of the global musical movement, in particular "House" to a wider and new audience. I believe through broadening your awareness of music, you will naturally hear the mixture of culturly inspired sounds across all geners and my ambition is to continuously suprise and entertain my audience with new combinations and collaborations.
As third member of The Pik 'n' Mix Family..often labelled the "Funky One"....,my knowledge of House music only strengthed the existing duo and completed the puzzle, especially with an ever incresing interest shown by clubbers, House is now the music of choice amonst many people. Between myself; Mista. B, O.p and Stretchinlad, we cover all forms of music, from House to African Beats to Hip-Hop & RnB.
The Pik 'n' Mix family's aim is to create and promote events that cater to the current generation of clubbers Nationwide and have succceded in maintaining a dedicated following to whom I am very grateful for their commitment and support.
Fundamentally I am DJ, who loves music and to "eju-tane" (Quote from Hip-HOP Legend KRS-1 the art of entertaining and educating through music).
