My name's Lauren. I graduated high school and have a good idea of what to do with my life. My dream is to be a novelist and have my book A Theses Plot published. But I also have a passion for film editing as many people know and love making documentaries on social justice issues or any kind of video (next on my list is a wedding and hopefully music/magic videos). Not to sound naive, but I want to make the world a better place to live in and hope by creating documentaries & writing stories that promote awareness of dangerous issues I'm helping improve society. I really love and think I have a knack for writing about dark themes, but that doesn't mean I'm a dark person: I have become very optimistic and love the simple things in life that amaze me everyday. Music has also grown to be my best friend, my escape from whatever that's going on. Absolute favorites include The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Big D & the Kids Table, Streetlight Manifesto, Sublime, and so on. I don't listen to whatever music is popular, I listen to whatever is good and I'm always open to hearing some new music. I work at Barnes and Noble, where I'm surrounded by the coolest kids & people around, and also the coolest books around. I mostly enjoy solitude and doing my favorite things by myself (reading, listening to music, writing, editing, and so on), mainly because some of my past interactions with people have just made me miserable. But, again, I dearly love my family and friends that have always been there for me and I love meeting new people & making new friends, like you for instance.
