About Me

From New York, born and raised, Jamaal dreamed of being an elementary school teacher until he attended high school and participated in the school choir and theater productions. There is where his love for performing grew and became his newfound ambition. Jamaal has peformed for the First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton as well as performed for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Jamaal's many interests in the field of theatre has lead him down many paths. He is also a choreographer who has choreographed many shows including Where's Charley?, Godspell, Pippin, Cabaret, and many more. Jamaal is currently writing the book to two original musicals.
