My baby girl Charlotte and the love of my life, Psycho Boy :)
Since I am one of the few who have not made the trek to NYC to party with the (former) JKLGN (now WBT) girls...I'd like to meet any of them..."; I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
What can I say? I have broad musical interests....I listen to music a lot because it's something you can do while you do other things...I listen to certain music when I'm writing for inspiration...The Killers, Chris Isaak, Natasha Bedingfield, James Blunt, soundtrack to "Orange County", Anna Nalick...the list goes on...in a world full of music, some artists touch my soul with their voices and words...it's these people that have granted me the inspiration to live without regret...I could not imagine a world without music...I believe it is God's greatest gift to the human race...
Currently, anything from my Colin Firth or Orlando Bloom collections...I love fantasy type movies...they are the ones that have inspired me to write fantasy...the LOTR trilogy...the Harry Potter series...Neverending Story...the list is endless, but my favourite movies are ones from the time of knights and kingdoms (Kingdom of Heaven is one of my favourites) and British comedy...the Bridget Jones movies top my list in that category...
I used to watch far too much television and I sincerely believe that I wasted a lot of precious time zoned out in front of the tube...I have limited myself in my adulthood to a few shows at best...I guess I still enjoy the occasional break from reality...
I have a broader range of interest these days but my interests still lie along the horror line...I enjoy the occasional romance and comedy...Helen Fielding is genius as is Nick Hornby of whom I had the fortune to receive an autographed copy of "Fever Pitch" for my birthday...thanks Dora! I love Laurel K Hamilton's vampire stories and they have inspired me in my own writing...of all time, my favourite book remains as "The Talisman" by Stephen King and Peter Straub...both brilliant writers...I keep telling myself to take the time and read the classics but time has eluded me...I have shelves of books begging to be read but I must finish writing my own book before I can get back to reading other writer's words...
I believe that every person I've met is hero-worthy...what is a hero to you? I think it is important for us to be heroes to ourselves....only then can we be truly happy...
