About Me

Hey! My name is Jesse McAdams. And the whole point of this page is for it to be all about me. It's an outlet for me to share with anyone who wants to see, my pictures, writing and music that I take and make for myself. One of the reasons I'm making this page is so I have somewhere to put my focus and ideas so I keep up with what I'm trying to accomplish. I have a real hard time focusing on anything so hopefully it will help out! As far as music goes...I have been playing bass for several years now, I used to be an accomplished singer, but I'm so far out of practice now i think it would take a bat to knock the rust off, but we'll see! I have been learning drums for the last half year almost and I'm getting pretty good. I have been focusing more on guitar as of late (it's been the hardest for me so far) but that's coming along too. I have no real experience in photography or professional writing, but I get a lot of positive feedback about both. So if you like what you see, hear or read, please let me know! Influences: MUSIC - I like a lot of different stuff ranging from Rancid and the Dropkick Murphys to Victor Wooten and Marcus Miller. Right now I'm really into Dragonforce. Some other bands I like and try to learn from are: AC/DC, Megadeth, Pearl Jam, Bad Religion, Gogol Bordello, John Mayer, Led Zepplin, Godsmack, System Of A Down and Tenacious D. Also I have been listening to a lot of 80's stuff like Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, and Cameo.PICTURES - I like nature shots, you know, lots of trees, water and animals. I may want to start taking some pictures of people someday, but so far I like shit that doesn't talk better.WRITING - I guess everything I have been through in my life so far contributes directly to just about everything I write. I think about different experiences and emotion depending on the tone of what I'm writing and go from there. although sometimes i like to just get weird and funny.
Sounds Like: It really depends on the song, I'm trying to get a full rock sound, but that's all hinging on how well I pick up guitar and some other stuff.
