All Night

All Night was started in Greensboro around 1999 with Nikos Chremos on Bass , Art Jackson and Sanders Trippe on guitars and Joel Darden on drums. We tried real hard to sound like Humble Pie and went through a lot of beer and about four or five drummers in the process. We played a lot in North Carolina for a while, with a couple of New Years Eve shows at Kings in Raleigh being real highlights and developed into a pretty damn good live band. Tee Pee records offered to put a record out for us at our first show in NYC and we promptly recorded with John Sherman on drums when we returned from that tour. Around this time things became a real pain in the ass. We toured for a few years, including one in 2003 or so that must've been the worst trip ever undertaken with guitars broken, a van with no headlights that died every day and shows that either were never scheduled in the first place, were scheduled for a week before we got there or scheduled in a town a hundred miles from the town we showed up in. The Richmond band RPG joined us for the last leg of that tour and dubbed it "The All Nightmmare". I think there might have even been a tour set up sometime after that that three qurters of the band, due to various intoxicants and personality challenges, never knew about. That, along with a litany of misdeeds and fiascos along the way, established our reputation as unreliable drunks, crackheads, idiots or worse. Due to the sucky nature of playing In all Night at this point Sanders Trippe left the band and we soldiered on as a three piece with new drummer, Luke Hurbst (who was in no way unreliable, drunk, or a crackhead or idiot). This period was actually pretty enjoyable again and we recorded a full album (Toe Up) with this configuration. It never saw the light of day and after Luke moved away the remaining members of the band could never get their shit together again. The final Lineup was Nikos Chremos on Bass, Art Jackson on Guitar and Luke Hurbst on drums.
