Well I've been making music for almost half a year now. I'm still in my early days and I haven't quite found my own style yet. Ever since I started making my music I've been experimenting, trying new styles and new ideas. I really enjoy making chiptunes and loads of other types of music. Composing music; for me is a hobby not an obsession. Since starting college I've really been enthusiastic about music technology, and for me chiptune and micromusic is about as close as you can get to music-technology.

Well I make all my music on rather knackered laptop using CUBASE 4.1.
I have a few bits and bobs that I like to use in my music as well, these are; Alesis Micron, Korg MicroKorg, Korg Kaossilator, Gem rodeo, Edirol m-16, and my Focusrite sapphire.
I also use loads of VST's and VSTI's in my music, and this helps me get the chiptune feel for my music.
There are a few bits that I'm yet to feature into my music, stuff like my Zx Spectrum 48k, Zx Spectrum +2, and a few vintage computers from the late 80's.
Needless to say there are a few things I'm yet to get my grubby mits on like LSDJ, Nanoloop, and pretty much anything by Pixelh8, my music might even one day involve kids toys and the like.
I see all these methods as new ways to vent ideas and emotions. I don't especially like being constricted with limitations, which in a way is what chiptune is about, but I like being adventurous =P.
