That old wize looking lady, selling sprices on Canal Street, who slowly raised her hand to her face, pointed to her eye, and ominously whispered, "watch your eyes." to me. I have been to Canal street many a time after that, and have not seen her since. I would like to know what she meant by that....I've been watching my eyes ever since.
