Our heart for the Shift Summer Youth conference is to not only to conquer new ground through encounter but to see the rise of Apostolic Generals in the Kingdom. Our heart is to see young people and young adults have a Damascus road experience where they encounter God in a life changing and powerful way. We long to see Generals raised up that will carry that apostolic mandate of creating a culture that will sustain the move of God in their church and in their region. We are after revival! An awakening in our generation! And we long to see a culture emerge in the church and in our generation that will sustain the move of God.
Culture comes from the root word cult which means “to worship†It points to that which we value above everything else. It is, in essence, what we celebrate, reward, discourage and penalize that determines our culture.
One of our core values that drive what we celebrate and what we discourage is revival, a sustained and ever increasing move of God in this generation that will change history. This value, this passion, this desire drives what we do and what we don’t do!
God has put it in our hearts to have a youth conference, not with the intention to grow a ministry or for our fame and recognition, but to see a revolution begin! More than simply obtaining a great move of God, I believe that we will experience an incredible outpouring of the Spirit at this conference unto Apostolic Generals being raised up in the church who will create an environment and culture that will sustain what we obtain!
This is a generation marked for revival. A Joshua generation that will take what has been given and live from the promises of God instead looking for them! A generation that God fights for and endorses. It is time for a generation to emerge that has shed the orphan spirit and has embraced the spirit of adoption, and who, by the grace of God, have purified their hearts and minds and set their eyes on Him. It is time for divine identity and divine destiny to grip the hearts of this chosen generation! It is time for a Shift! We pray for the Holy Spirit to consume this generation in the refining fire of the spirit and to release signs and wonders Christianity once again!
