A Fine Farewell was formed in January 2008 by drummer Wade and singer/keyboard player Andrea. Knowing he wanted to do the band with his closest friends, Wade quickly recruited guitarists Ricky and Will. A Fine Farewell wasted no time, having two songs recorded through True Sound Studio after only 2 months. Through Ricky, the band recruited former bassist Mark and played a series of big local shows during the course of the summer.
Unfortunately, the band hit a rough spot in August which resulted in the departure of Mark and Ricky. AFF went on hiatus until they could recruit new members. After a month of searching, the band found Geoff, formerly of The Home Crowd, to fill the void left by Mark. With a set lineup and a bunch of new music, A Fine Farewell once again hit the studio with Ryan at True Sound to finish the long promised debut EP, with the help of former guitarist Ricky.
A lot has changed in the few months that A Fine Farewell has been together, but the band has only gotten better. Also, the band picked up another member named Ben. If you don't believe it, check them out at their next show, and while you're there, pick up a CD.
