About Me

These few tracks that you hear are from the our new Ep, entitled The Resurrection. For those that don't know who we are and where we come from, please read and learn. It was the late 1980s into the early 1990 s, the scene was New York City/CBGB, Lamour/ Brooklyn, and the East Coast. The guys in Dept C were into all styles of music. Influenced not just by the music they listened to, but life in the urban environment they lived in. A band that was hard to categorize with its metal riffs , hardcore edge and pounding drums. They did manage to find a fan base that was a mix of skinheads, metal heads, skaters and punk rockers. Everyone all seemed to relate in one way or another. With the band touching base on everything from war, homelessness, healthcare and mental illness.Dept.c found themselves right smack in the middle of the crossover movement, a scene that is still alive today and growing larger then life.also dept-c are working on DVD entitled into the resurrection witch will take you back in time from there live performances from -cb-gb's,lamour,onstage,chatter box, city limits, escapades, elrctric bannana.
So as you stroll the halls here at the Department of Coreuption, take a journey through life as seen through the eyes and minds of Ray Cola,Joe Rad,Todd Starita and Adrian Getzoff.Enjoy the ride! Enjoy the ride! Remember Stage diving is not a crime
