About Me

I have performed at many functions both as a solo artist, as a duo Act with Don Gula (double bass player) and with our band Little Miss Country and the Kick Ass Kowboys, that sees us perform with many other musicians, depending on the requirements of our bookings/performances. I started singing at a young age, starting out at the Presbyterian Church in Drouin and the BP Revue in Warragul. After a very long break from singing (where I was square dance caller, running a few square dancing clubs) I have now been back singing mainly Country for the past 4 years. I regularly perform at Father’s In The Chapel (in Cranbourne), BAD Folk (Berwick), Peninsular, Outer East and Gippsland Country Music Clubs, The Entertainers Club and the Newport RSL.I have also performed at Festivals, Open Mic Nights, Nursing Homes, Over 55’s villages and private functions. I have also had live performance/interview sessions on a radio stations and been featured on TV festival Ads/newspieces. My repertoire includes anything from both Old and New Country, to Sing-A-Longs, to Folk etc, depending on the requirements of the booking. I play guitar and sing both my original songs and covers.I released my debut album, “Holiday From Hell” in December 2007 which I recorded at the Hugh McDonald Studios in Kew, and had my first CD launch in January 2008. My album has 7 originals and 5 covers on it. I'm really greatful to Ian Castles for introducing me to Hugh and the magical world of recording! Without his advice and guidance, this would never have happened. Basically, I just love to sing and perform and get great joy when I see smiles on the audience faces and really love it when the audience sings along with me.
