Play it like you stole it!

About Me

I've been playing guitar since I was 13. If my math is still good, that makes it about 26 years now. I've been in and out of a few bands, everything from country to thrash. I prefer to play blues and prog-rock, but I'll give anything a shot if the right feel is there.

I have a SWEET little collection of Schecter guitars, including a Triple-X Custom (retro-fited with Seymore Duncans), an orange Elite, and a blue C-1 Classic. I'm hoping to secure an endorsement with them soon. I also play a 50th Anniversary American Standard Strat, and a Carvin acoustic/electric. I push everything through a Boss ME-50, into a Crate 4x12 powered by a Crate GLX1200H 120W head. GHS 10-52s are on everthing but the Carvin.

My major influences are Hendrix, Rhoads, Frank Marino, and SRV... but there's also a touch of Robin Trower, David Gilmour, Rik Emmett, and Dave Murray if you listen closely. The basis of everything I play comes from the blues, and that's the way it is.

Edge of Reason on Hiatus

Well, it looks like Edge of Reason is on an indefinite hiatus.  Our drummer has left the band due to limitations on his time, and a need to spend more time with his family.  Certainly, no on...

Edge of Reason

Well, over a year into the band now (not counting the 2 month hiatus), and still no gigs.  We sound good... at least at rehearsal.  I really don't think the songs can get much tighter. ...
