I don't feel like listing things like sex or eating is pertinent, because who is not interested in those things?
Most of the people that I know for a fact that I would like to meet are dead. Therefore, I think it is easier to say who I would NOT like to meet: People who are unwilling or unable to apply critical thinking to all aspects of their life, people who are trying to sell something, people who think pop culture is much more than either a sad spectacle or an interesting divination technique, people who don't read, the aesthetically challenged, hobos, and, generally speaking, the vulgar. Now that I think about it, I would like to meet lycanthropes, librarians, libertines, alchemists, open minded philanthropists, misanthropists, and various powers, thrones, forgotten deities, infernal agents, wandering hierophants, and salacious whores.
I enjoy music. I do not necessarily consider myself a fan of any one band or genre to the exclusion of all others. Some of the things that I like are classical, various operas, marches, ragtime, swing, early blues and jazz, rockabilly, psychobilly, punk, nowave, death rock, early industrial, experimental/noise, old country western, alt. country, apocalyptic folk. Anything involving an accordian, concertina, organ, banjo, saw, or theremin.
I enjoy a good cinematic experience. Not as much as I enjoy good theatre, but, of course, there is no spot for that on myspace....which is fair, I suppose, as there isn't really that much good theatre out there.
Is the opiate of the masses.
Are an excellent thing to familiarize ones' self with. I myself thoroughly enjoy books, and the reading thereof. For instance, the current stack of books that I am reading include "Revolt Against the Modern World," by Julius Evola, "Lords of the Left Hand Path," by Stephen Flowers, "Pimp," by Iceburg Slim, and I just purchased two books that I haven't begun reading yet, one which is about the worship of Kali and the other is a general overview of the current of western thought from the Greeks to the mid twentieth century. I also enjoy various periodicals and newspapers, such as 'The Chap,' 'Bizarre,' 'Juxtapoze,' 'The New York Times,' Salon.com, and the BBC.
