I love all film. So its very hard to pick favorites. My DvD collection is comprised of mostly vigilante/ present day gangster movies(The Boondock Saints/The Departed/Knockaround Guys)....Then as always Kevin Smith is a genius.
Books:
I'm jumping back on the literary horse. I just picked up my first bit of fiction since high school..I have been on a nonfiction kick for a long time...I plan on finishing The Sun Also Rises By Hemingway soon and moving onto The New Centurions By Joseph Wambaugh.
