About Me

Guy has been writing and performing live for the last 10 years and has gigged and travelled around Europe, Australia and South America. In 2004 he started putting his fourth coming Album together in Magical Malvern. Playing live at festivals last summer with superb musicians like James Burnham (AKA Judobeing.com) and Lee Drinkwater in the UK, Guy has honed a unique song writing craft that sets him apart from the average acoustic musician. After meeting Perry Foster, one of the UK's finest blues musicians in 2004 and having an in depth conversation about how to stop a harmonica holder miss functioning, Guy was inspired to try and breath fresh harmonica sounds into indie rock n roll. He is now highly regarded (for his age) as one of the best harmonica players in Europe. Playing live harmonica to Drum & Bass and House music at festivals and parties it has to be seen and heard to be believed.Guy is finished gigging and writing in Italy and playing around Europe and is now going back to the UK to finish recording his album at Unauthorised Studios. As Guy is about to embark on the recording and production of his debut solo album, he talks to the Camden Rocker about his journey. " For those of you who know about the trials and tribulations that songwriters go through to create and finish songs, I don't have to explain that it is a demanding, time consuming vocation, that can leave you full and empty in the same day". " My songs attempt to describe the nature of our existence and hopefully inspire people to become the best people they can be" - Guy Ford 2006 interviewed by The Camden Cowboy.Having played and toured throughout the mountains in Switzerland, Andorra, Spain, France & Italy for the last 3 years Guy is working on new material, before going in to Unauthorised Studios in Malvern, Worcestershire
