Why do we play Celtic Music ? I guess what drew us to Celtic Music was our ancestors .
Hollis coming from Scotch/Swedish ancestry, Garry from English, and Ed being second generation Irish .
What better reason to play this kind of music ?
( also gives Ed a good reason to wear his Kilt )
The music we play comes from a number of different Celtic countries as well as early America.
We use a variety of instruments that are traditionally found in Celtic culture, especially harp, flute, and bodhran,
but we may include instruments from other cultures as well if they suite the music .
Truly we enjoy playing the music of our forefathers and we are told that it shows.
If you want to learn to play Celtic Music
join us for a Ceili (Irish jam Session) the second Sunday each month in at the Bridge Community Center in Peach Tree City, GA.
