Jesse Cox has been in the San Diego music scenery as a support musician for approximately 15 years. Most recently he has teamed with a local band named Blue Rockit as the featured vocalist and guitarist. During the NFL football season he is the lead vocalist/guitarist for the official San Diego Charger band. Also included in his present activities is playing for various band leaders who need a front man for their casual engagements (private parties i.e. weddings, conventions, fund raisers etc.).Jesse’s experience in the music business has exposed him to playing for such acts as Little Esther Phillips, Ben E. King, and Fred Parris and the Five Satins.Besides recording on various demonstration tapes for artists in New York City, Jesse was able to fulfill a personal goal by having an original composition published by a major recording label (Atlantic Records). Jesse was the guitarist for a four man vocal group named Ace Spectrum when they landed a recording contract. Jesse played one of his original songs (Live and Learn) and the band picked it up for their album “Just Like in the Moviesâ€.
