Velarsound
is hip-hop with a finger in each of the last four centuries of European
music. Sometimes urbane, sometimes raw, sophisticated, dark, the sound
walks a tricky line between uniqueness and listenability. The result
is subtle, intelligent, left-field songs with real mainstream appeal
and naggingly thoughtful lyrics.
Not afraid to mix styles and cherry-pick influences from anywhere,
