~*~ I Miss You's Not Enough ~*~

About Me

Alaska.... Home. Salem.... Home. Portland... heart. I graduated from Bartlett, currently attending Willamette University and LOVING it. I can't stand gossip, false pretenses, bad moods, jealousy, dishonesty, drug addicts, violence, mooches, war, conservative Republicans, wastefulness, wet dog smell, yogurt, dirt, finger good, zombiesA few things I can't seem to live without?: Well, Savannah and Randi..! Miss you guys. Found some amazing characters in Oregon, Inga, Taryn, Tom...I love you guys. I love my family, especially my mom, and my brother Jesse... I love a good book, music (live or otherwise), a full tank of gas, I'm unfortunately prone to self-induced mind alterations of all kinds, I love a great teacher, I love Michael. I like quiet, dark, warm places like libraries, or bedrooms. I love the gardens here and the hot sweet air. I love to learn and to be challenged. Taking a year off from school was great, wouldn't change a thing, but I'm where I was meant to be...
CASSANDRAPronounced: ka-SAN-dra From the Greek ?assa?d?a (Kassandra), which possibly meant "shining upon man", derived from kekasmai, "to shine" and aner, "man". In Greek myth Cassandra was a Trojan princess, the daughter of Priam and Hecuba. She was given the gift of prophecy by Apollo, but when she spurned his advances he cursed her so nobody would believe her.

I'm reading, "The Gods Will Have Blood" in my history class. My favorite books...tough...but It (that book had a lasting impact on me and my perception of evil in every day life), and Watership Down by Richard Adams comes to mind immediately. I love allegories, short stories, Poe, Lovecraft, Stephen King...Everything by Jane Austen, go figure. Uuum, Wuthering Heights, Thornbirds, I'm such a girl. At least I read, right?I've always been in love with Anne Rice and her Vampire Chronicles. Exotic, rich, absorbing, thrilling, lusty, lush, arrgh I love her writing, it takes me away! It made so much sense to somehow associate her writing with Brad Pitt. ahaha.

Heroes:

......Try to take something meaningful out of every encounter. These are just a few that have stuck with me, and their visual counterparts for aesthetics. ;) SO..........Savannah, Taryn and Inga taught me friendship. Cheyenne and Marlea taught me ambition and determination. Jesus I miss you guys and the way things used to be. Ferris taught me to appreciate life. Once upon a time, someone taught me about unconditional love. Adam taught me to dream. Inga taught me a lot about inner and outer beauty. Conor Oberst taught me there's always hope in the darkness, and life after coming down...
