About Me

I’ve been in New York City for 10 years, and Brooklyn for nine, so the world does look like that Saul Steinberg New Yorker cover to me. I grew up in Central Massachusetts. After a brief, disastrous stint out west, I came here.
Since then, I've worked as a mutual fund analyst, a journalist and an editor. I live in Brooklyn, New York, by the river, where I face an uncertain future with swaggering optimism.
I have near-impossible dreams. For instance, my first and second book of poems, The Last Man on the Moon, and The Blue Blueprint, are available from Medium Rare Publishing.
For awhile, I was serializing my second novel, The Last Bad Job, in the blog. But I stopped. You should read what’s there. I also sing in a New York rock band by the name of Adultogram.
Other than that, I’m just a young-ish man trying to make it. I’m not crazy, but not dull.
Stay tuned. Some day, everything’s going to be different—when I paint my masterpiece.
