Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I am Laurie McClain, and I am just beginning my brand new radio show "ALIVE IN NASHVILLE" on Radio Free Nashville, Nashville's only community radio station. It's 98.9 on the FM dial, WRFN-LP ("LP" stands for low power, and you can only hear it in a limited area on the west side of Nashville!!) HOWEVER, we are live streaming on the web at radiofreenashville.org with equal power to all on the web!
Tune in to my show every Tuesday from 1pm-2pm CST (Central Time) and listen to music that I love -- I hope you will love, too -- with an emphasis on LIVE music & Nashville songwriters. I don't like to limit myself to any particular styles, so along with some great local singer/songwriters and touring Americana and folk artists, you might hear some Django Reinhardt or some Johnny Cash, Joni Mitchell or Blind Boys of Alabama. Lately I am playing a lot of selections from a wonderful new compilation album called SONG OF AMERICA.
