Resistance is Futile..

About Me

My Interests

Exercising the creative part of my brain through various avenues. Mostly through photography these days. If not behind the camera, I put myself behind a bass/guitar/synth/violin/whatever musical instrument I can get my hands on and feebly attempt to make music. Computers, (yes I'm a nerd), Linux, BSD, and OS X. Yes I'm a Mac person, having just picked a new Intel Duo Core MacBook Pro. Lastly, I have a strange attachment to Japanese sportscars and spend time on the road pretending to be a rally driver in my 2002 Subaru WRX.

Music:

Ranges from metal to goth/industrial to retro.. To name a few, Type O Negative, Mudvayne, London After Midnight, Godhead, Wumpscut, Front Line Assembly, NIN, Sepultura, Mushroomhead, Peter Murphy, Bauhaus, The Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, VNV Nation, Velvet Acid Christ, Taproot and far too many others to list. But you get the jist.

Movies:

Event Horizon, House of 1000 corpses, Nightmare Before Xmas, all Lord of the Rings, Blow, Underworld(only for Kate Beckinsale), Interview with the Vampire, Bram Stokers Dracula, Blade, Lost Boys, Seven, the Crow, the Hunger, Equilibrium, Back Door Sluts 9, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, the Bourne series,Boondock Saints and many others which sit on my shelf.

Television:

CSI(only Las Vegas), Family Guy, the Simpsons, FIA World Rally Car coverage, F1 races, House MD and my guilty pleasure, the OC. But tell no one. No one..

Books:

Lots of them.. the LOTR/Hobbit series, Utopia, On the Road by Kerouac, Junky, Naked Lunch and stuff from Burroughs, Ginsberg, Poe, Paradise Lost, some Chaucer and others..

Heroes:

Steve Jobs and Steve Wizniak for giving Bill Gates the middle finger and starting Apple. Musicians who do what they want and not what corporate America tells them that will sell... Unique photographers who have a vision and push the envelope.. Me for being so bad ass.

My Blog

2006

So 2007 has arrived, and I feel now is as good a time as any to post the "recap on 2006" blog.  It was definitely a year of up and downs for me, swinging from extreme highs to rock bottom and eve...
