Brice was born into the faith—his father was a preacher and the Word of God was instilled in him at a young age. Brice grew up in small towns, moving every few years because of his father’s profession.
Brice’s story is a common rock and roll tale of young rebellion, but then he had a life changing realization. A hard living country boy, Brice promoted shows at bars and clubs around the country. Inspired by rock greats like Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd and country legends such as Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash. Weary of the bar scene and tired of rough living, Brice had an epiphany. Brice reconnected with his small town rural roots and realized that music was his ministry. When he sang, he would sing for God. Through God’s grace and the power of music, Brice set out on a new journey.
For roughly the past decade, he’s lived in Austin, Texas, though he spends a lot of his time on the road. He has four children, ranging from ages 2 to 9, which he calls the pride of his life. Brice wants to connect with younger and older generations to spread the message that “through Christ, all things are possible.â€
Drawing inspiration from his old favorites of Southern rock and country, Brice continues to write and play music for a living and thank God for his blessed life.
“I like to think that through my music and with God's grace and mercy I can continue to see and settle into the man God wants me to be,†he says.
