During December 2006, The Goldoni's theater of Florence presented on its stage an extraordinary meeting between Israeli artists: Gilad Ephrat – Double bass player, Talya G.a Solan – An exotic vocalist , alongside with Stefano Maurizi, pianist in Florence and Paolo Cimmino, A percussion instruments player from Naples.The Italian-Israeli connection, Rapidly-developed during the year of 2006, in a virtual meeting between Stefano Maurizi and Talya G.A Solan.
In that special concert, exotic music from the Mediterranean-basin zone were performed, along with traditional materials from the origin-countries of the artists and original melodies which have been created by them.
The artistic-characters of each artist, were fully-expressed during the concert, and contributed to the unique and diverse sound which they managed to create.
The music, as a bridge and route for cooperation between those artists, who were strange toward each-other before, had brought many of magnificent and exciting moments.
The strong and enjoyable musical experience, likewise the friendly- relationship which developed between the artists, produced a strong will in their hearts to continue and groom this blessed-initiative.
The meeting was supported by the Israeli foreign-Ministry and by the Istituto Internazionale Andrej Tarkovskij in Florence, Italy.
