We're looking to kill the reputation that gigs at Bowes Lyon have had in the past for being a 'Kids Club'. We want to put on specific Over 18's gigs to get the older crowd in.
We're not saying that young teenagers shouldn't be allowed to enjoy live music as well!!! So that's why (in time) we're planning to put on Under 18's gigs on a different night of the week for the younger gig goers, possibly with all Under 18's acts to give new, young bands the opportunity to experience playing live.
It's nothing personal kids, it's just that a 28 year old bloke doesn't like watching bands whilst having his pint knocked out of his hand by a crowd-surfing 13 year old in an MCR hoodie, ha ha
We wanna meet genuine music fans, local to Stevenage who are tired of having to get taxis and trains to another town just to watch local bands, or to play a gig themselves.
Be warned: If you have a tendency to sneak into the bogs with four of your mates and get 'chemically enhanced' at the weekend, don't bother coming to our gigs...WE WON'T F**KING STAND FOR IT AND YOU WILL BE BARRED!!!
