Lucid Dreaming, remote viewing, Philosophy (western and eastern), Martial Arts, weird sounds, good smells
Joseph Campbell, Ken Wilber, David Cross, Martin Scorsese, the aliens, the overmind, the Kwisatz Haderach, the fat Elvis (I want his recipe for fried banana sandwiches), and of course....YOOOOUUUUU!!!!!
Give me the top 10% of any style and I'm into it (and by the top 10% I mean "as selected by the true heads not corporate figures who view music as widgets"). Some of the stuff thats been cycling/recycling through my ears lately: King Tubby, Liquid-Liquid, 70's era Miles Davis, The Police, D.K., Mastodon, The Gorillas, DJ Shadow, The Cromags, Misfits, Scientist, - I mean really the list could go on forever and ever and ever and ever.....
All the greats that everybody seems to list, plus all the cool obscure shit that validates my hippness.
The Wire, The Sheild, Mr. Show, Ultimate Fighting, wait...I mean I'm too cool for TV.
A well rounded balance that indicates I have intellectual tendencies coupled with a pointed sense of humor in the face of this, our existential nightmare (oh, you rebel you). And yet, other texts reveal that I might have a secret sensitive side that you find intriguing, even if my book list says, "I read by my own rules!"
Do we really have heroes anymore? Or do we have people who we respect and accept as flawed like the rest of us humans. If the latter is true then this is my list: David Annecharico, Justin Miles, Brian Kievit, Ward Littel, my mom (isn't that sweet)
