Band- bio
the band has it's roots in 1973, when Alex saw the light of this world for the first time. Because somewhere around this time, hearing these beeping and pumping sounds of the labor room, plus the happiness of the people around him at his birth, made it clear (maybe not to him yet), that at some point in his life, he would use these sounds to make people happy again. Actually even earlier in the family, his great grandfather was the owner of one of the first radio companies in the early 1920's called Lumophon later on emerged to Grundig (meaning, that there is some kind a family relation to turning buttons and playing with electric toys)! Later on still in his younger years, he learned singing, playing keyboard, and afterwards also the basics of playing guitar, to create his own world of sound. these possibilities of expression later on formed into the wish of creating electronic music. During his learning phase, he started creating music, which at that point, to the opinion of others was to crazy, or not organized enough. After he quit music though, to follow a "normal" job, the evolution of music went exactly this way and the people loved it.
Years after leaving Germany to find back to his roots, he decided to take up the challenge to make it in the music world this time, without giving up for reasons of normality. He decided, to create a style of electronics mixed with rock, pop and jazz or even classic, to match the feelings he wanted to express in his music. therefore he created with his long loved wife angel t. the ElectricManiacFoundation. This name from now on should stand for the generation we all live in, the structure upon which we rely. We are all ELECTRIC MANIACS, always in the need of electricity or some kind of power source to keeps us going.
Imagine all electricity would break down one day? We would all turn to maniacs! Nothing would work anymore, there wouldn't be any light, no computers, no electric stove oven or to say it in the words of our time no microwave..... no communication via mobile phone or even land line (if some of you still know what that is?)
To create a stronger emotional base for his band, Alex thought of actually only creating a foundation, through which many artists could express their self, like himself. A band that would grow, to finally be the biggest band this world has seen yet.
And here we present, what years of musical evolution sound like in the eyes of someone born 1973.
Alex's talents are vocals, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard and beats, but always working to be better and more creative. His source of inspiration are the struggles, fights, joy and happiness in life and angel t., which is pretty much the same.
