On the pursuit of new musical delicacies Andreas Intelmann (aka L’Iltisse Lunaire) met the two Passau-based gourmets Sebastian Dietrich (aka DJ Blue) and Martin Mayer (aka Smig Santos). Soon discovering that their musical tastes blend well together, they decided to create a “nouvelle cuisine†of sophisticated dance music. Their dishes are prepared from ingredients originating from Rare Groove (Jazz, Bossa Nova, Funk, Northern Soul, Boogaloo, Easy Listening, Mod and Surf sounds) and contemporary electronic music genres (NuJazz, Broken Beats, House, Drum’n’Bass, Hip Hop), flavored with a spice called groove.
In the late 90ies they invited renowned guest chefs like Karsten John, Jörg Record Shack and Florian Keller to perform at their regular club events at the Scharfrichterhaus in Passau. Since that time also their takeaway service has found satisfied customers all over Germany and Austria.
