Marquavis Murry aka Quavis was born and raised in Michigan. He grew up in Saginaw, Michigan, and loved music for as long as he could talk. Q, for short, has been singing since 8 yrs old. He wrote his first song when he was 13 yrs old. Q learned how to play drums at age 11. Later, he learned how to play his first song on piano at age 14. His brother, Eddie Mitchel, first exposed him to music production at 14yrs old and has been an inspiration to him since. Eddie helped him develope his creativity. Now, Q is on a mission, and in his own words he says: I wanna bring something to music that is missing, originality and soul. I create all my songs from my heart and soul and totally from scratch. I like to write, produce, record, mix, and master my own music. Yeah, you can say I love every aspect of music from creation to enjoyment. With music, I express a lot of different aspects of life. With that being said, I do several different genres of music. I'm very spiritual and have a personal relationship with God. I was raised in a God fearing, church going family. I have my values. Some may feel well, you can't mix spiritual with commercial. I feel like this is the world we live in. I thank God for all my talents so I plan to use them to express all REAL aspects of life. So I create R&B, Soul, Spiritual, and Rap. I love all different types of music, but these are the best ways I express myself. With human emotions, there are feelings. Our feelings are dictated by everyday reality. So there you have it, this is why I call my creations, REAL FEEL CREATIONS. ..
