Yellow Lab

About Me

Yellow Lab was born under the assertion that labels and genre, method and technique are not as important to the production of music as the sounds themselves. Using both traditional jazz instrumentation along side electronics of all kinds this duo’s live improvised set is a sonic collective mixing and blending all their musical influences into a cohesive sound ranging from blistering drum and bass beats to delicate melodies, experimental sound sample collages to hip hop breaks, traditional jazz with pop and click glitch electronica. Adhering only to the jazz tradition of musical exploration the members Yellow Lab look at all music as malleable, and free to explore within the moment.
