THE UNKNOWN RIDERSIn 1967 a few friends who drive motorcycles instead of cars, began to hang out together and cruise. By 1969 that informal group had evolved into the Unknown Riders M.C. Fresno.
The Unknown Riders are members of the Northern California Bikers Association. As a non-profit community service organization, the Unknown Riders have two major fundraisers each year. The annual dance is held the first weekend in March. And the California Half way Run is held the first weekend in October.The Riders are dedicated to helping our community become a more unified and secure place to live. The Unknown Riders community calendar include, an annual Easter egg hunt for the under privileged children of West Fresno, a fire works display with free hot dogs on the 4th of July. A haunted house with candy sacks in October and a Thanksgiving meal with the elderly at the Hinton center in November.The Unknown Riders provide many random acts of kindness through out the year in the direct effort to cancel out the negative image of motorcycle enthusiast sometimes put out by the press and the police.The Unknown Riders Live to Ride but we also take pride in the community we live in.
