LA DAUPHiNE!

About Me

"Marionette Antoinette", Lo, Lola, Dolly, Lolita, Poppet, miniMaus... who is the Dauphine?
Recognized multiple times by the GRAMMY Foundation as an up-and-coming singer/songwriter, LA DAUPHiNE is on a mission to create an entirely new niche for herself in the pop world-- this "miniMaus" been working behind the scenes since she could speak, silently leaving her mark on music-- now, it's her time to take the stage .
Faith Hahn was the shy toddler at sound checks, as her parents gigged in the bitter New Jersey underground. By that time, they had already shared the stage with The Ramones, Billy Idol and the Misfits. But little Faith had more than rock n' roll on her mind.
The young ingenue wrapped herself in a world of classical music and began to sing opera, to her parents' utter confusion. Her passions eventually led her to sharing a vocal coach with Pavarotti and Celine Dion, and to studying music formally as a vocal music and composition major.
Dubbed "The Stealth Bomber" by Styx guitarist, Glen Burtnik, Faith in her teen years discovered the vast horizons of her vocal versatility, and earned a reputation across East Coast performance venues (such as The Bitter End, The NJ State Theatre, The Count Basie Theatre, The Mercury Lounge, etc), as the girl who could sing a set of pop tunes with the occasional operatic aria in between. In homage to one of her ancestors, the infamous Marie Antoinette, she adopted the title of "La Dauphine" and never turned back...
LA DAUPHiNE's music has since taken her to more recognized stages like Avery Fischer Hall at Lincoln Center, The Public Theatre of NY, The El Rey Theatre and the GRAMMY Museum Theatre in LA to name a few.
Now, her artistry knows no bounds; she is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, poet, novelist, lyricist, composer and seasoned stage performer.
Although LA DAUPHiNE has had the pleasure of sharing the stage and recording with with a myriad of talented artists over the years, her favorites include: Patti Smith, Eric Whitacre, Deborah Harry (Blondie), Sonic Youth, Bernard Purdie, Ian Hunter, Tami Lynn, G.E. Smith, Jonathan Cain & Steve Augeri (Journey), Nicole Atkins, Glen Burtnik, The Smithereens, Joe Hurley, Antonique Smith, Deena Miller, Christine Ohlman, The New York Dolls, Barbara Conrad, Michael Imperioli, Marshall Crenshaw, and of course... Jeffree Star.
