Every rose has its thorn. Step aside boys! Female-fronted bands get their own spotlight when Adelaide’s most dangerous female musicians hit the stage in the girl rock extravaganza created especially for the 2008 Adelaide Fringe, 'Frock N Roll.' Featuring all-original local bands Illicit Eve, Blow Up Betty, Angelik, Ricochet Pete, Twelve Dollar Monkey, The Jetpack Escapee Scene and interstate guests Taste The Venom (Vic), enjoy two nights of bad girls who know how to rock and roll! With sounds covering a wide range of music, from throw-down-the-gauntlet rock to softer pop tunes, this will be one hell of a girl-powered rock show full of sass, smiles, and unsurprising talent.
Presented by the Adelaide Fringe and ESP Productions, these licensed all ages shows take place on March 14 & 15 at The Cavern Club, North Tce. Don't miss this chance to see why Adelaide is fast becoming the hot-bed of female rock talent in this country!
