Let me start off by introducing myself. I am from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I was raised in Freeport, Long Island and Atlantic City and Plesantville, New Jersey. I spent 10 years up north, then, I moved to Naples, Florida with my family where I spent 5 years of my life. I attended Florida Gulf Coast University for a year and realized that I was destined to study medicine in Dominican Republic. Right now, I am studying Medicine at Universidad Iberoamericana or UNIBE. I have been here for almost 2 years now and will be finishing my M.D. in about 3 years. I knew I wanted to be a Doctor for as long as I could remember. I am very excited to be studying a career in which I can help others live their lives. I have the overwhelming responsiblity to save lives and I am honored and amazed that a single person can make a significant difference in another's life. I owe my life, disipline, and respect to the two most important people in my life: my wonderful parents, who have been with me through the toughest times and the happiest of times. I am blessed to have parents that love me for who I am, no matter what I may do and the struggles I put them in. Just for the record...I am deeply sorry for being such a pain, and you did a great job raising me. I hope that one day, this sacrifice I am doing will pay off so I can finally show you what amazing parents you have been. Thank you for being so pacient been with me. I have two brothers that I love soooooo much: Joseph and Jancarlos. I miss them very much and wish them the best in life. Hugs and kisses to you both. To finish up, I am outgoing and really friendly and funny (so I've been told). I love to hang out with my friends, travel to different places, listening to music, dancing, painting, learning new exciting things about not only life, but about myself as well. Living in a 3rd world country has taught me many lessons. I have gone through a the lowest of lows and the highest of highs in the past couple of years, and you know what? I am happy for every bit of it, every tear, every laugh, every thought...I am blessed to have experienced life without the cherry-on-top. Most of all, I am thankful to God who protects me and watches over me every second of the day. I am surprised you have read all of this, but I hope I can inspire you to do what you want no matter what it takes. Persue your dreams even though no one pats you on the back going up, when you reach the top you not only have showed them you've done it, but proved to yourself that whatever you set your mind to you can accomplish. Live life to the fulliest while you can. So, if you liked what you have read, check out my profile, get to know me and have fun.
