About Me

I am a 41 year old male who works as an investigator for children services. My job is pretty crazy and I have developed a outlandish sense of humor as a result. I am a single parent of my two little ones, Sarah (age 13), and Christopher (age 9). I don't do drugs, be assaultive, or generally act in a psychotic fashion because it would look bad on my resume. I regularly attend Al-Anon meetings because I want to lead a happier life and work on myself (NO - I am not an alcoholic, just someone who has been affected by them). I rarely if ever watch TV, but I do like to watch movies on weekends. My Interests

I coach soccer but I haven't told the kids to break any clavicles yet (lol).I am a certified open water scuba diver, a certified personal trainer, and sometimes I act certifiable. I work out in the weight room 3 times a week for my stress relief and I try (ha ha) to get some time to myself every once in awhile. The kids and I usually go to Clearwater, Florida twice a year to visit their grandmother for vacation. My favorite vacation is Cancun though cause the diving is good, the beach is awesome, and folks down there really know how to party ("Don't call me gringo - you beaner!").

I'd like to meet:

I am only interested in talking or meeting people who can be honest (I interview liars everyday at work and don't need any of that in my personal life). I consider myself to be a very good guy (I know a lot of guys talk the talk, but don't walk the walk). I like people who have a spiritual side to them because I want more of that in my life. Don't get me wrong, I am not some tight-assed, super moralistic kind of guy who doesn't know how to have fun, but I do try to live with a bit of God's guidance in my life. I have full custody of my kids so I am a fairly busy guy and I don't go out much. Read my blogs if you wanna find out more about me.

Music:

I used to play lead guitar in rock bands many moons ago for about 16 years (up til 1998). I quit playing to be a single parent, and I won't pick the ax up anymore cause it bums me out to not be groovin with a group. Actually, I rarely listen to rock these days (probably for the same reasons). None of you young upstarts are going to believe this, but I am a hip hop/rap/r&b freak. My faves are Eminem, Ludacris, Ying-Yang Twins, 50 Cent, Snoop Dog, and Sean Paul to name a few. Of course, I got some shizzle to go with my dizzle... ALSO, I LOVE TECHNO CAUSE IT'S GOT THE THUMP!!!

Movies:

Quentin Tarantino is a fave of mine: "Pulp Fiction", "Jackie Brown", "Kill Bill 1&2", "True Romance", etc. I like comedies like "Kicking and Screaming" - and by the way, bring me a juicebox. Horror flicks are a fave of mine as well as suspense/drama stuff like "Collateral" and classics like "Scarface".

Television:

Books:

I read all kinds of stuff from nonfiction to horror and out there fiction. I got shelves and shelves full of books so I must be an avid reader of some kind. I probably should start writing books at this point as I definitely got some serious life experiences to share.
