Cool Flash Generators at BLINGCHEESE.COMDesert Rose is a gospel band that started when someone enlisted Rose in a gospel song contest. Though she just had a tonsil surgery, she won second prize among all contestants. Her prize was light and sounds during her concert, and because of this, someone gathered musicians and started to practise some cover songs to prepare for her concert. The concert was a succesfull and blessed one, and after that, many organisations asked them to give concerts. After some concerts, Rose started to write songs and melody, arranged by her musicians. She is writing a lyrics that are so inspirational, full of encouragements and love for everyone, and based on her life experience as a Christian, and they sing it in many genres such as classic rock, country, gospel, ballad, and pop. In 2005, they recorded their first cd in Holland. They also had some radio live concerts and interviews in Belgium and in Holland. As of now, Desert Rose is busy doing some concerts in Belgium for festivals, homeless, youth organisations, and churches, and looking forward to give concerts for the people in prison, for refugees, and for the blinds. They are now preparing for the humanitarian project in the Philippines. Because of humanitarian works of Rose's home church and Desert Rose, they were able to sponsor children with school supplies, bags of groceries, and bibles. And because of this, it became a vision for them to build a multi-functional place where they can continue humanitarian works for the people there... We want everyone to be inspired, and have courage to go on when they have problems, and feel loved no matter what status, race, or religion they have.. We found God's love, and we want to extend this love through our music, our words, and also in our deeds, we want to be blessed, because we want to be a blessing to be a blessing to others, and we know we have a news of courage, hope, salvation, and love, that everyone has to know.. "We are so thankful to God for putting us together and giving us an opportunity to use the talent He gave us to serve Him through serving others."
