Desert Music Group is the result of collaboration between White Heart founder and member Billy Smiley, who also has produced numerous artists; long time entertainment attorney, marketer, and studio owner, Matthew Gould, and well known marketer and studio owner, Louis Silberman. Desert Music operates four subsidiary labels: Southern Skye Records, a country label; Cul De Sac Records, a pop/rock label; Devotion Music, a worship music label; and, ShadowLand Music, a label that offers up music in various categories such as jazz, instrumental, world music and the like. Desert Music Group product is distributed by Universal Music Distribution. Desert Music Group has offices and studios in both Scottsdale, Arizona and Nashville, Tennessee.
